I thought that to, so i used an FTP program and removed the saved data and started a new world, after an hour of play we restarted the server and it reset us back to character creation.

no no no, you don't get it, we played for FIVE HOURS today alone and then the server dropped for some reason and i was forced to restart it, after the restart we were back to exactly the same position. you know that episode of stargate where oneil and tealc get stuck in time and loop over and over it's like that, no matter what we do we will always end up in the same place after a restart, our server DOES NOT SAVE AT ALL, and it hasn't saved for at least 3 days now. edit: this MUST be an survial server issue because no one else is having this issue, no other server hosting site, none of the streamers, it's just us and 2 others and the others have already moved on to another site, but i paid for this server i want what i paid for.

Hey so i don't know if I'm getting to be annoying or you just don't care anymore because we're already leaving your service, but the server is still resetting. ( and yes the server is still up and running because it works ... until it randomly drops or we have to update) this is what i did, I logged in, was back at the same point being attacked by 4 raptors, said fuck it force tamed them, cheated in a raptor saddle, rode off and got my friends "lost" raptor, went home and found my dino took them both home, removed there inventories and put them in the house storage, force saved using the command posted here on the forums, logged out, reset the server, waited for it to go live, logged back in, and was exactly where I am after ever restart, being attacked by 4 raptors in the middle of nowhere. I don't know if you don't understand the issue or you just don't care, but no one else is having this issue anywhere else save this server hosting system and i guess me right now since the others who had this issue have either left or possible got it working. I just want to use the server i paid for for as long as i have it left, I don't want free time, i don't care about getting a free week of time, I want the server i paid for to work. I'm not even going to bother putting in a support ticket, I've put in two and nothing has come of it save "use the admin save command" and "I see you are up and running, Cheers" ... neither of these are solutions to this issue. edit: oh yeah, please do not lock this thread when you think you have solved the issue or im just going to make a new thread again, and again and again until something gets done.

I don't know it never gives me one when i fill out a support ticket, the captcha was 14441 which is the only string of numbers i saw during the whole process that looked like a ticket number

I've contacted support about this issue already and they gave me an answer i knew wouldn't work, and then the thread about this got locked so i can't talk about it there anymore so im going to make a new one. My server is currently stuck, no matter what commands i do, what folders i delete, it always resets after a restart to exactly the same time and place. Our 2 dinos are lost in the wilds because we died, i know EXACTLY where they are now because i have run and gotten them at least twelve times, I always enter the server at the same point being attacked by three or four wild raptors that do no damage to me yet im not god mode. our character levels reset to the same each time i was 25 now i'm 18 again. I have used every possible variation on the save world command, we even hoped and prayed that the server might just happen to auto save every so often. We've lost upwards of 50 hours of work now over several attempts and hopes that the server would be working again. I even pulled the world file using an FTP program and reset the server with a fresh world we dicked around with cheats and built some structures and then reset the server again and it went back to the character creation screen. nothing we do is saving this server, all we want to do right now is use up the month of time i bought and then pull the world and use it on our own server, we're just waiting for the linux files, but whats the point in even playing the game if we can't save our progress, I've rebuilt the second floor of our house so many times now I almost know exactly how much wood i need to build 11 walls, 9 ceilings, 1 hatch, 1 ladder, and 12 large storage's. we know this is a server side issue and not a dev issue because i have only heard of this issue here on these forums and not on the ark subreddit.

I don't know I got a message about a ticket i submited saying that the person did this exact thing as a fix and now we're back at level 1 with nothing, I didn't do anything. edit: Wipe was the devs fault,

I noticed that the official servers are 171.4 so i decided to restart our server and update it, but after the restart we are still at 171.21

yeah the save command dosn't work for me, I went in did a few things used the command seven times with cheats enabled and everything and it still reverted me back to where i was this time yesterday.

Are you fucking kidding, why the hell doesn't this system have an auto save, why were we not emailed about this? so what? if the servers randomly drop like they did yesterday we just lose all that data....

I was coming to say exactly this, i left for work and my buddy stayed on and gathered resources and levels, I come home and the server dropped about 15 minutes before i logged in for some reason, I restarted it and logged in, We were back at least 12 hours
