  1. No more white screen, but again, I'm being pushed to a cross Atlantic server now in Germany. What do I need to do to get a stable server in the US?
  2. Guess what, went to bed with white screen in Dallas and woke up to an unknown status in France. No offense, but having access to a cross Atlantic server is a useless fix. So I decided to switch back to a US server and had New York and Dallas to choose from, both of which have given me white screen issues in the past. So I went with Dallas thinking it had new hardware available according to your tweet. Well, it took all of 5 seconds to be right back into a white screen issue. It's been 4 days of never ending problems and data wipes because every server cluster has issues and no, I can't connect to the FTP data files to save because every time I try, it's saying it's the wrong port. I just want to point out that 50% of my issues have been confirmed hardware issues. If this was all due to software and the fact Ark is pushing out mad updates, fine, but that isn't the case.
  3. Ok, I updated my help ticket with current situation and will wait till someone manually fixes my server issue. I saw the tweet that new servers were available in Dallas, which is why I moved my location from Los Angeles to there. However, with this white screen, we are unable to do anything to our server since we can no longer access our server console. Server# 5838 Ticket# 857669
  4. Well, I got tired of trying to get my server to not be stuck in "loading" status, so I moved from Los Angeles to Dallas and now I'm getting the white screen and unable to connect to my server console to do anything.
  5. Not looking very promising right now. Updated from v170.1 to v171.0 and had "loading" status for an hour. Did another update to try and fix it and v171.0 to v171.21 has been stuck in "loading" status for 20 minutes now. Over half the servers on the list have 0 people playing for one reason or another and with 4000+ servers, that's just bad juju.
  6. Well, usually clients with new versions can still play on servers with older versions, but that doesn't seem to be the case with this game.
  7. Ya, I just did another update restart since it was stuck "loading" for a little over an hour.
  8. So then the fact it's had a "loading" status for 60 minutes means I should just go ahead and restart?
  9. So quick question. When we do updates to our servers is 60 minutes how long we need to wait from when server starts to when we should wait for it to go from "loading" to "ready to join"? Just making sure cause if it takes longer for these servers to update, I don't want to do another restart to fix it if it's still updating or something.
  10. theham, how long has your server been stuck in "loading" status?
  11. Same and it's been 20 minutes since I updated my server. I think it's safe to say every update is going to cause a lot of us grief.
  12. Some of the hotfixes for logging into an unresponsive server have been to go into your Steam Library, right clicking on Ark: Survival Evolved in your game list, selecting Properties at the bottom. Clicking on SET LAUNCH OPTIONS and entering the following command: +connect <your server IP address:your server port number +1> so it would look like this. +connect 192.168.10.254:18815 but you will add +1 to your port number making it +connect 192.168.10.254:18816 Now, I've noticed after my server had issues and was finally back up and running, I needed to use the normal IP address and port number without the +1 in order to connect, so try both. After you enter one of the numbers, close the windows and click on the Ark launcher icon to launch the game. It should attempt to connect directly to your server. If however when you look at the Steam Server list and your server shows a 0/0 population, no map selected. That means your server is most likely having a hardware failure and unfortunately, you will probably need to switch your Server location to fix that. Do that only after you have tried everything else and only if you have saved your servers FTP files. Since moving your server from one location to another will wipe the server.
  13. I updated my ticket, but figured I'd post here for others to see. I couldn't connect to the server using the IP address:port +1, so I used the exact address and port as it was listed on my Server console, without the port +1. This allowed me to connect.
  14. So after my server was moved from Dallas to Los Angeles, it seems like the 0/0, no map selected was fixed. Except now the server is not showing up in the Server list, but I can locate it in Favorites by adding the IP address:port +1 but I can't connect to it. So I'm going to do 1 update/restart to see if that fixes it. If not, going to try again tomorrow. Managed to play 60 minutes today
  15. Peter Quandro already replied to my ticket #857669 He said my server was indeed having a hardware issue and was moving me to a new one. My server ID# 5838
