Hey guys im guessing the question im asking is a change you would need to make in the ftp files . but basicly im looking to change my day night cycle and also i want to reduce the spawn of dinos on my server as i feel there are far to many atm .

where is this file loacation ? is it in the ftp ? and is this for multiplayer servers or jus local ?

server announcements very important in my opinion and would be nice to have a simple switch in console to turn server to pvp or pve but ofc if you guys could get the command line to work it would help alot .

These commands need to be used as commandline arguments when launching the server. You can not activate them in-game. An example would be Server.exe TheIsland?listen?ServerCrosshair?AllowThirdPersonPlayer?MapPlayerLocation anyone know what he means by commandline arguments ??

admincheat forcetame: does not work for me

for the server commands do i need to still put admin cheat in front of them do i need to include the - at the end or a : beacuse when i do these nothing changes . do i need to relog ?? to c the changes . and do they persist through server restarts ?

ok ty btw any changes we make do they persist through server restarts or do we need to enter server changes every update / restart ie if i wanted to make my server pve would it stay pve once i made the changes once ?? also do u know if there is a command to change the length of day night cycle yet . i feel it is far to quick atm . and again in the admincheats command im wondering if there will be a command line to give a certain player any item i please ?? i know we can give ourself items but wondering if i can give any player an item .

im new to all this and i do not know what you mean when u say open console with tab or ~ sorry for being such a noob im not sure where i even nned to go to do this ?? is it something i do in the ftp ?

could someone post the exact line i could copy and paste into my Launch Parameters line to enable the crosshair and third person plz . i cant get it to work myself .

ok just updated my server 10 mins ago . now my server sais not responding nobody can get on

every time my server restarts all my users if they where online at the time of the restart get ataleast a 20 min roll back. is there a way to turn this off . or at least could there be a way of the servers giving players a 5 min warning to log off or they will suffer a rollback .

i c that u have changed gameusersettings.ini . i take it thats for you when playing on your own but which file would it be to actualy make changes to the server settings itself ie things like day night cycle pvp or pve ect .

another stupid question from a noob at running a server but my windows wont open any of the files in the ftp . do i need a certain program to open them ?? im guessing if we will eventually have the option to make changes through the ini file in the ftp i will need to be able to open and edit it .

so i cant actualy kick unwanted people from server while im playing with a simple command >< that suks on another note will i be able to change the day night cycle with a command ?? im new to this so sorry if they are dumb questions

how do u even log into your serve as admin ?? is it even possible to actualy log into the game itself as admin on your server ??

I have a 10o slot server for my clan and gameing friends and half of us cant get online due to it being full of people . i need the password issues sorted asap as do many others . this has to be a priority.

weird my server is not showing up through right clicking steam and going to servers . but it is in he server list if i launch the game and go through unofficial servers

this is all i get all the time in the steam server list . ive updated as the guid sid multiple times ive not changed any files parameters nothing atall .
