Redemption 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2014 I recently swapped over from dayz.st (which sucks) anyway after an extreme all nighter I rescripted everything since survival servers wouldnt handle my pbo files from the old host. Last night/this morning I spent a good 4-5 hours hand inputting the player and object data since dayz.st does theirs different. Everything was working fine and though the ftp was being a bit difficult (dropping connection etc) all was well in the little world of my server. Satisfied and accomplished I turned in for a much needed sleep and woke up at about 4:30pm in the afternoon. I got an infinite wait for host but since no one was on I rebooted the server and was able to log in just fine. About an hour or so in (with players online) I saw I was losing connection and was then kicked by battleye for client not responding. After a quick verify of Arma2 and OA I tried again to no avail. I then discovered that I could not log into the FTP via FileZilla either with the following message: Status: Connecting to (ip removed for obvious reasons)... Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message... Error: Connection timed out Error: Could not connect to server Since then I have tried every variation of the crappy error fixes that we have all come up with over the years and nothing, no change infinite wait for host from DZC and when I launch directly from OA I cant even find the server...... I just did a complete reinstall of Arma2 and OA and dayz mod, once Epoch finishes I will try again however I doubt that is the issue since I cant connect to the FTP. Ive also tried to connect to the FTP via web browser, no luck there and when thinking that maybe my server mistakenly banned my ip I tried a proxy and received a flat out 404 error. thoughts, suggestions, and advice are all welcome. Oh and I have put in a support ticket but received nothing back and since we have a Holiday coming I doubt I will get one til Tuesday at the absolute soonest. StealthyMartian 65 Report post Posted September 1, 2014 for the FTP client issue. I would try changing your password for the FTP on your admin panel to see if that fixes that. For the not getting in part you may want to double check your coding in your PBO files for any errors. I had that happen to me once before, as well as maybe repack your PBOs encase something was corrupted during the packing. Other than that. Best to just wait for a reply :\
