BraveToastR34 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2020 So I'm new to this server buying thing and I was wondering how an aspect would work. I was going through the checkout for a server for Ark: Survival and it was asking me to choose a map, so my curiosity was if I chose the map now and wanted to change it later would I be able to update it while keeping my payments recurring or would I need to cancel my subscription and then re-up it under the new map. If the first option is possible, if I was able to switch maps whenever I wanted to, would the people on the servers be able to transfer to the new map and keep their gear or would it start everyone anew? Nick22 3 Report post Posted December 2, 2020 You are free to switch maps at any time after ordering! If you wanted to save the character data and reupload it you could save character progress, when you switch maps all progress is reset unless data is manually backed up.
