kitkatbwilde 0 Report post Posted June 16, 2020 Having an issue with friends trying to connect to the server from Epic Games. - They have Crystal Isles installed. - I have set 'Epic Only' and 'Cross Play' to enabled. I have tried enabling most of the solutions I've found online as to how to make this work. - We have tried opening a single player game and then forcing it to swap to the correct IP:port. When they try to connect, it just kicks them back out to Epic. Thanks for any advice. If this isn't the proper way to find a solution I'm happy to submit a ticket. bmcnair 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2020 This sounds like the same issue I had with a few of my players the other day. We discovered that we though the extra maps were installed because we "purchased" them via the epic games store, but we found that they weren't actually installed. We had to go into the Ark: SE options (the ellipses under the game image) and the choose "manage DLC". from there we had to enable each map we had acquired, which then started a download of said resources and corrected the exact same issue it sounds like you are having. Thanks for the tip! I'll check it out and update the post when I am able to confirm or deny whether it solves the problem.
