mandrit67 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2019 can someone please explain the default grid? i initially purchased a 2X2 server setup. 4 servers. We started playing on those maps, they we as follows A1 at cords 0,0 A2 at 0,1 B1 at 1,0 B2 at 1,1 The issue was they were all tropical biome. We wanted to add more biomes so we purchased 2 more servers and set them at A3 at 0,2 B3 at 1,2 we then edited the JSON file to make A3 a desert biome and B3 a temperate biome. The issue is, although we see 6 grids, A2,B2 A3 and B3 are "merged" meaning the islands are spread across two sectors each. is it possible to change the CORDS of A3 to 3,3 to make it a tundra biome? we have already built in B1 )1,0 so i dont want to lose the data. Ryan Pennington 359 Report post Posted January 11, 2019 Biome change involves replacing islands so I doubt it would be possible to preserve save data for the grid being changed. On the ServerGridEditor there are Tundra based maps. So in addition to changing your serverGridTemplate from Tropical to Tundra you would need to change the islands out for Tundra islands. Miss_Worden 5 Report post Posted January 11, 2019 You can change any Grid you want at any time - for instance I change my Pvp zones around from A4, B4, C4 to others. Changing those 4 does not effect my other 4 grids (my pve zones) however if you have built on those islands / Grids you are about to change or want to change to another grid you will lose all items / buildings / ships / everything - it will be a total wipe when you move that Grid from say A4 to A1 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
