Invalid Password Crossing Zones

Leathal

Recommended Posts

I just recently crossed over the server line to the expansion server and was kicked with the message "Invalid Server Password".

I have 2 servers and both are setup identical with the exception that one is the Home Server.  I have the same password for the server and admin password set on both servers.  I also have identical config files on both.

The only difference between the two is the name that I have given them.

Anyone see this or have an idea what is happening?

Okay.... so I am sure it is not intended to work this way, but I was able to login by actually logging into that specific server.  They certainly aren't acting like a single clustered environment.

Make sure you havent got that child server set to "home server". Remember you are running a grid or hive. All the details should be the same. Make sure your JSON config file is exactly the same for each region's server. The only different should be the "friendly name" entry at the top of the file.

Sounds like your ServerGrid.json WorldAtlasPassword is not matching up or your password inputs on the control panel Lock Password aren't matched up (those are sent via launch parameter)

Sounds like something you'd need a support ticket on so we can diagnose.
