DeezGames 28 Report post Posted December 21, 2017 The ARK version number is updated in the control panel manually by staff after an update. However, the updates are always done automatically by the system. So updating your server should always work (barring unforeseen circumstances.) However, the version number may not always display correctly immediately after a patch. So after a patch, just run the updater and trust that it will always (most of the time) work just fine. So if you stop the server then hit start, it will have version ??? until the servers are fully running which may take a few minutes. StealthyMartian 64 Report post Posted December 24, 2017 Normally if it does continue to show the question marks after the server is started it is due to the length of your server title.
