Rhylin 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2017 Hopefully I'm doing something wrong here... I've been an admin on a server before purchasing my own to run mods. Every time I've done a Dino wipe, the server lags for 30-60 seconds, then crashes. The server I was an admin on was running between 0-4 mods. Current server is running between 10-15 mods. Is this typical? Is there something I can do to prevent the crashes?
Goblin 2 Report post Posted March 19, 2017 That's normal from my experience , the server " has to / tries to " repopulate about 4000 dino's all at once when you do that , so ........
Hawthorn Thistleberry 5 Report post Posted March 20, 2017 I've always done the wipe when no one was online, myself, with a backup made before it. I haven't had it actually crash the server, as long as no one is online when I do it. (Not even me -- I issue the command through ARKON.)
