HunterKiller 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2017 hello I have tried to change the name of server and save and restart ....server breaks stuck on creating and get a session lost... no matter what we change if we just hit save and restart without changing anything server breaks ... we came to find out our steam_appid.txt in our ftp is going back to 33930 when it should be 224580... we have to wait for you guys to fix everytime which im sure is annoying everyday .... can someone please explain how I can edit my steam_appid.txt in my ftp so I don't have to put ticket in every day and wait 12-24 hours for simple fix.... its getting annoying we cant do anything to server because if we save it ....it will break... and from what iv found out this is the problem.... it really shouldn't take survival servers 24 hours to fix this so please let me know how to fix... jbird206 1 Report post Posted February 27, 2017 you need an ftp client like filezilla to edit your steamapp api. download it and input your server info and password. No need to bother SS for that.
