norman1234 2 Report post Posted December 6, 2016 ive had server crashing for last 2 weeks around 2-5am eastern timezone.. its a everyday thing or every morning thing where server just stops for no reason.. i have put in a support ticket they say its mod related which if it was it would happen all day long which it doesnt.and the rubber banding started last night my ping was over 150 which its usually around 30. in which ive never had a issue with rubber banding. but i am trying out the new commands to start server in low mem state and to use the cache for faster server loading. Ryan Pennington 359 Report post Posted December 6, 2016 They say its mod related which if it was it would happen all day long which it doesnt This is actually the opposite. Mod issues typically cause regional lag/rubberband or action specific, not constant. i am trying out the new commands to start server in low mem state and to use the cache for faster server loading. This is most likely the issue. These are experimental features.
norman1234 2 Report post Posted December 6, 2016 well ive had the server crashing since last 3 weeks just recently changed to have to those startup commands. nothing has changed like it started doing it on a pgm map but we restarted new on another map and it still crashes but it only crashes at 2-5am eastern which is odd its like a set time to crash everyday. i dont have server restart interval checked.. so it should change anything around that timezone.. it has cause alot of my UK and Aussie ppl to not log in during those times and ive had ppl restart it around 5 am.. but the rubberbanding might be fixed nows since unchecked af ew options.. but sent in a few tickets to find out the server crashing issue.. i do know ark is in alpha stage with alot of memory leaks just was curious on why it stops or crashes so early but runs fine the other 20 hours
Ryan Pennington 359 Report post Posted December 6, 2016 Crashing issues are different than rubber banding. Please update your support ticket with that information and we can take a look.
