Ark Server Brief
I am aiming for this server to be about as challenging as Official Servers, but with slightly faster leveling, ext. The theme of this server is to be more primitive without the use of Primitive+ Total Conversion. Hoping for a Friendly PvP community. This the stock game with a few mods. This server has a highly active admin who prefers to keeps a hands-off approach. I, the admin, will also not be in any active Tribes.

General Info:
-Player Level: 60 Max (Can level to 61-75, but with real high exp costs.)
-Engram Max: 1010 Max (Can gain an additional 500 pts by lvl 75)
*Player levels and engrams are kept low for balance and to help slightly prevent god-like players, possibly until server population goes up.
-Most Advanced Weapons, Armors, Structures (including all Metal Structures), ext. are banned. (No Auto-Turrets, Machine Guns, Riot Gear, but low-tier guns and metal armor are allowed.)
x2.5 EXP Gain - To promote advancement.
x2 Taming - To promote raiding.
x3 Hatching - To promote breeding.
x1.5 Harvest Amounts - To slightly alleviate the grind.
x1.5 Harvest Health - To further alleviate the grind.

General Rules:
-No cheating, glitching, griefing, or use of hacks/programs that gives an advantage over others.
-No spamming chat messages. Wait until your message is 10 messages old before reposting.
-No blatant racism or disrespect against anyone...but do not play if you can't take a joke. (Sh** talking is OK and so is some vulgarity pertaining to the game.)
-The ban hammer may be wielded against those that break any rule if the server's owner feels the need to do so.
Saddles - If platform saddles are obtained, no building siege weapons upon the flyers. Structures on platform saddles are not allowed to be more than 3 structures wide in any direction (not including fences and ladders.) Do not build upon saddles in a way that glitches to block damage to the dinosaur.
Taming - Taming Pens must be demolished after the tame is complete or fails. No excuses. Also, try not to kill tames under level 35 unless provoked.
Resource Blocking - No cave blocking or resource blocking in a way that prevents spawns of valuable resources (Metal, Crystal, Obsidian, Beaver Dams, ext.)
Bases - Floating/Glitch Bases are not allowed.
Low-Level Raiding - Try not to raid players of lvl 15 or lower, especially those still in the thatch tier...unless provoked. This does not apply to Tribed players that fall into this catagory.
Raid Times - An established, gloves off, raid-time may be set up in the future if wanted by server population. However, a raid is considered to be active for 24 real life hours. A tribe should be allowed 24 hours of rebuilding time after being raided, unless provoked. Counter raiding is allowed.
Captives - No holding captive of players for more than 2 in-game days. They must be killed or released. They are not to be recaptured for a full in-game day...unless provoked.
Admin Events - An arena and a local hub may be set up at a later date to hold events. Currently, the server owner may raid from time to time to keep one tribe from bullying the whole server and destroy old structures.
Player Rules - The admin prefers to take a hands-off role and will only interfere if absolutely needed. Beyond these rules, the community is to make their own rules and enforce them themselves.
***Abusing the "Provocation" clause may put you and your tribe up for disciplinary action.***

PLEASE INFORM ME HERE IF THERE ARE ANY PROBLEMS GETTING INTO THE SERVER.
(I was able to join successfully, but others may have issues.)

Troubleshooting Issues with Joining:

-If the mods were subscribed to, wait for them to finish downloading. You should be able to see, while in game, the mods being loaded in the bottom right-hand corner.
-It is easier to subscribe first, then join.
-If you choose not to subscribe to the mods, join the server. It will show the mods being installed in the middle of your screen. It may boot you out once or twice. The mods should continue downloading in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen while in-game. If not, rejoin as many times as you need to install said mods. There's only three mods, so it should not take very long.
-Direct connect by using your browser and typing in: steam://connect/158.69.127.152:18016
-The same IP mentioned above can be added to your Steam Server List. (Steam: View -> Servers)

(Changed: Dinos are no longer at a max level of 100 and, for now, there is no longer a tame limit. Stress tests were done with tames and they should not be a problem.)

12/03/2016 - ​Rules updated, links updated. Small stress test conducted, no longer a limit on tames. No longer a dino level limit. Player level limit/engram limit will stay in place until population grows...trying to give newer players a fairer chance as they come in.
