Victor__ 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2016 Customizes the spawning rate for a given dinosaur type (at all dinosaur spawn points). Types with a larger SpawnWeightMultiplier are selected more often when spawning new dinosaurs than types with lower multipliers. When OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage is specified (and true), the type will never be spawned more than SpawnLimitPercentage * 100 percent of the time, regardless of multiplier. For example, a SpawnLimitPercentage of 0.25 specifies that the type will be selected for spawning no more than 25% of the time. The examples provided here are split into multiple lines for space considerations. In the configuration file, an entry must be placed entirely on a single line. Multiple DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers entries can be specified in the file, but DinoNameTag values should not be repeated across multiple entries. DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag=Bronto,SpawnWeightMultiplier=10.0,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=true,SpawnLimitPercentage=0.5) For the Dino Name Tag values see Creature IDs. http://ark.gamepedia.com/Server_Configuration Just look for " DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers" in that link. Hardcheez 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2016 I'd like to chime in here and ask about that - do I need to manually enter and FTP the config line, or can I just use the handy-dandy config tool to do this, since that tool appears to have precisely the sort of controls to tweak dino spawn rates built in? I ask because I suffer from a veritable PLAGUE of Rock Golems on my SE server. I have tweaked the Config Tool's spawn numbers for both Rock and Rubble Golems three times or more now, AND run Wild Dino Massacrees after at least a couple of 'em, and I've still got me a veritable plague of Golems. And when I say "tweaked", I mean "Reduced by what should have been well over 90%". Any advice or guidance appreciated.
