RXEDWXLF 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2016 I just got a rust server and i am trying to make it public, how do i do that and add descriptions/picture anything a public server needs. I am trying to get more people to get on but it would make it easier if you wouldnt have to copy and paste the ip over and over. Ryan Pennington 359 Report post Posted June 14, 2016 Yes /server/experimental/cfg/server.cfg If this doesn't exist you can create it and put things there (without the +) like: server.description "something here" server.SOMETHING "something else"
Motoko 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2016 http://rusthub.net/blog/2016/01/17/1340-2/#Setting_up_your_servercfg ^^ The above link has an example config (.cfg) file that has everything you need. You can just copy and paste that right into a txt file. Then rename the file as a .cfg file. There are more commands that you can add to your config file later as you become more comfortable. Just read through its built in notes and remove the '#' symbol from the commands you'll be using like server.description, server.url etc
