Rexxer 2 Report post Posted May 31, 2016 Everyone who connects to my server gets an error message saying Mod Version Mismatch, please make sure the server is running the latest version of the mods. Unfortunately, it doesn't tell me which mod is causing the problem. Here is a list of my mods. I was wondering if anyone else has come across this problem with any of these mods. 538986229 Annunaki Genesis (v3.9.7) 681746361 ARK Fog Remover 572277026 Ark Advance 9.1.2 679529026 Ark Steampunk Mod 543859212 Auto Torch 656489100 Building Xtras (All In One) Ft. This started Saturday after Ark had the most recent unversioned update. I had not restarted my server when I noticed the issue. I updated/validated my server and the issue still happens. Is there any way to figure out which mod may be causing the issue without restarting the server 22 times, each time running only 1 mod because that would take hours seeing as the server takes about 30 or so minutes for each restart? I don't have any custom launch paramaters set. I just have The Island set as the map and this Mod IDs in that order in the list. Rexxer 2 Report post Posted May 31, 2016 Okay, the issue seems to be with Ark Advance 9.1.2. Is there anyone running a server with that mod having this issue? The issue for me started on Saturday after the release of the Bio Markers unversioned update.
Rexxer 2 Report post Posted May 31, 2016 I fixed the issue. I deleted all of the mods off my server through FTP and restarted the server and everything works now.
N9neBlade 2 Report post Posted June 3, 2016 an easier way to find out which mod is out of date is to goto the steam workshop enter the ark section and then click sub and categorize the mods you are subscribed to by "date updated" this will help you narrow down which mod needs to be updated you can find the screenshots on how to do so here http://imgur.com/a/fLr99
Boggs 1 Report post Posted June 3, 2016 I'm currently getting this issue myself, what is the FTP you mentioned ?
Rexxer 2 Report post Posted June 4, 2016 I'm currently getting this issue myself, what is the FTP you mentioned ? on your server control panel there is FTP log in information. You can use FileZilla, a free FTP program to FTP into your server than locate the Mod folder and delete everything inside the folder, but leave the Mod folder itself intact. If you need more detailed info let me know and I will post more detailed instructions. Boggs
Boggs 1 Report post Posted June 4, 2016 Well, what's weird is I am the only one currently experiencing the issue with the mod mismatch. I did a full reinstall of all mods, even the game itself and still getting this mod mismatch issue. If you wouldn't mind explaining it in full I'd love to to learn it. This is the first server I've rented so, complete newb here.
saleny 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2016 The only mod we use is Death Helper and some (but not all) of our players were getting the Mod Mismatch error so I disabled it through the Control Panel. Any advice as to the proper procedure to make sure the server is running the latest version would be appreciated.

If running restarting the server with the Update/Validate settings does not work you have 2 options. Since only some people are getting the issue you could ask them to delete their local mod files and redownload them and see if that works, or you can delete the mod file off of your server through FTP. Here is how to delete the mod files off of your server step by step: 1) Install FileZilla from here: https://filezilla-project.org/ 2) Log into your server control panel 3) Stop your server (There is a Stop button to the right of your server's name in the control panel) 4) Locate the FTP Details section in your control panel 5) Open FileZilla 6) In the Host: section of FileZIla, put the IP/Host number from your FTP Details 7) Fill in the Username, Password, and Port from the FTP Details as well. 8) Click Quickconnect 9) Once connected to your server through FTP you will see the list of files and folders on the right side 10) Navigate to /ShooterGame/Content/Mods 11) Delete everything inside of this folder, but do not delete the folder itself 12) Make sure the Mod ID(s) section has any mods you want on your server 13) On your server control panel select the Yes, run update/validate option and click Update Settings and Restart Game Server Your server will take longer than normal to restart since it will now re-download any mod in the Mod ID(s) section.
