acidrs 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2016 Hi, Ive been trying to figure out how to change Server.Description, Server.url etc. I already have a sever created and loaded and the Server Name is being Displayed correctly from the game server settings page, If i click on the Launch Parameters box and add in server description or any other command the server generates a whole new map and doesn't use the already set settings. I have been looking for the server.cfg file to try and add the commands their but their is none. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great. acidrs 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2016 I responded to your email. +server.description "something here" Etc Hi Ryan i got your email. Thanks. I was still wondering if a server.cfg file is available to edit via ftp. I only ask as the Launch Parameters section in the control panel is limited to 255 characters. This limits the server description and restricts additional commands to be entered.
Ryan Pennington 359 Report post Posted May 1, 2016 Yes /server/experimental/cfg/server.cfg If this doesn't exist you can create it and put things there (without the +) like: server.description "something here"
Mako 1 Report post Posted May 10, 2016 So we can add server.url, server.description, and server.headerimage to this /server/experimental/cfg/server.cfg file and it will work like it was in the startup batch script? Ryan Pennington 359 Report post Posted June 19, 2016 You might have improper syntax or the wrong variable names. That's the correct location.
