ryanmike 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2016 I'm new to the Survival Servers, But not new at being a server admin, your Control Panel is confusing, and it doesn't seem to be giving me current Real time updates on server status. I tried to modify the server settings in the control panel, I made my changes, and clicked the "Update Settings and Restart Server" The screen does nothing and when I refresh the screen, my changes are gone(Of Course) and according to the control panel the server is still up. When / how can I check to see if my changes were successful? and do you have a remote admin or Remote desktop connection that I can use to get to the server itself? Lastly, in The console above the server details, there is a "Please Wait" , it's been turning ever since I logged in. And again, the screen doesn't seem to be updating or showing the current status of my server. Thanks, RyanMike

ThadG59 2 Report post Posted February 26, 2016 OK, it seems that IE was timing out and not allowing the control panel to refresh. I installed Firefox, and the control panel now works fine. Thankyou support for responding so quickly with a solution to my problem.

MetalicJive 3 Report post Posted March 8, 2016 Just for reference, internet explorer isnt a very good browser. There is a reason a lot of people refer to it as internet exploder. Some sites, scripts, and general html have a hard time running on internet explorer due to the fact that it lacks a significant amount of features that other browsers offer. I would stick with firefox as this will better your experience on most sites you visit and will also speed up the load times. Ryan Pennington 359 Report post Posted March 8, 2016 I am going to just block IE completely from the control panel. It's outdated and does support the latest technology which we are using.
