Question about mod stacking

Hey guys,

Complete newbie here so just a real quick question. If I change the order of my mods, will it mess anything up? I'm sure it probably depends on the mods themselves, but I thought I'd ask anyway in case there's a general answer to it.

I have a difficulty mod on the server but I'm not sure it's working, so I wanted to put it first instead of second, but I'm concerned it'll mess up the mod I put first which is a stack mod.

(I did look for this topic in here but couldn't find anything similar!)

Thanks all :)

The stack order does matter, but it will vary by mod. If the first mod does not mess with any dino data then having the difficulty mod 2nd wouldn't matter. Now if for say the first mod is chaning dino attributes, and the your 2nd mod is strength, then the 2nd mod data would be ignored as mod #1 has a higher priority.

Hey there Steggs, my server runs 8+ difficulty and currently K9 stacking mod.  I'm about to do a switch over to Joan's stacking mod as this actually does not have common issue of not being able to make Jerky, and from tests (always test mods on your local instance i.e. Single Player before putting them on your server) it works fine right down the bottom of about 6-7 other mods.

Rule of thumb: Put the mods that do the most changes with a higher priority and the ones that add less with lower priority.
