Degman 1 Report post Posted February 6 I am curious about this. I was using Update at first, and then when I tried to log in I was getting the game creation failed message. Now I always run Update/Validate. But, what's the difference? And why is Update only an option if it doesn't work (which, so far, it seems like it doesn't)? StealthyMartian 64 Report post Posted February 8 For update and the update/validate the two main differences is update just pushes an update through to the server. However if you have issues were the update does not tend to work or if you feel your server is missing some files. You will would do the update/validate as this option will make sure the files are downloaded and get any missing files back into the server.
