How do I create a new map or use seeds?

As the title says I would like to know how to generate a new map for the server. Also how do you use a seed to accomplish the same thing?

Due to the game limitations, seeds can not be changed currently, but you can create a new map by checking the box Delete World Save at the top right in your control panel, then restart at the bottom. (Green button)

Does that mean you have to delete your current seed to play another? Is there a way to just switch between them?

Yes via the backup restore on the panel.

Clean Save World to wipe and create a new one (diff seed) and then you can roll back to the old save using the tool on the panel.

Hello,  

In addition, if you want to play a custom seed the only way to currently do so is to create a world on your local machine using the seed you like and then importing it through the console with the zipped fwl and db files found at AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds or search your computer for .fwl file and go to that folder to find the db.  

This is in effect cloning the world on your computer to the server.  You could use the survivalservers.com backup to revert if you wanted to.
