I know that I won't be re subbing my server if they haven't updated this. It is ridiculous that we don't even have the option to do it. Oscar, we know that you are all anti-1.7.7 patch, but you have to remember, this game is ALPHA. We are all TESTING this game to make the standalone better. If we aren't running the latest version, buggy or not, we are not testing it. My server population was starting to rise, but that has stopped since we aren't running the latest version. I myself was down almost 4 hours while I figured out how to uninstall the 1.7.7.1 patch from my steam install and re install 1.7.6.1 so I could just log in. Survival Servers - also deleting everyone's Twitter responses where EVERYONE who responds is asking you for 1.7.7.1 is just obnoxious. We pay for a service, we aren't getting it. I am almost to the point of asking for a full refund. SS doesn't respond to forum posts (Oscar is a volenteer moderator, NOT a employee who works for you guys,) your chat is never live, and like other say, your support tickets take a min of 24 hours to respond to. My ticket was just said "we made a twitter post" and you closed my ticket.

DayZ commander is returning an error for me now when I try to go backwards to the 1.7.6.1 software, saying that it cannot install it. So now, my SS is completely unplayable. It will not let me connect to my 1.7.6.1 server with the 1.7.7.1 update installed. Push this update NOW please. I don't care if it is buggy like you say it is, I want the latest version.

Oscar, the issue is that we host servers so people will play on them. Sorry to say, but 1.7.6 is buggy as hell. But they fixed alot of issues with 1.7.7. Sure, there are new problems, but we should have the option of choosing which one we want. The problem I see here is that SS wants to have their anti-hack version up and running before they release it, but to do that, they have to break down the code. They need to let those of us that want to keep up with 1.7.7 to install the newest patch, and run without SS Anti-Hack until they release a new version (with the stipulation that they won't help with hacking issues if we choose to use 1.7.7) or stick with 1.7.6. until you guys do it. But not having the choice is not working well.

They basicly have banned all weapons that are one shot, one survivor kill guns. With both the AS50, and M107, you could one shot anyone, hitting them anywhere. That is why it is banned.

Most of the changes in this are good. Fixing LOTS of bugs. But, he is basicly eliminating the AS50 and M107 from the map, unless you actually go in and re-edit your ammo values and spawn drop rates again by hand. The biggest downside in my opinion is that zombies become much more dangerous, making raiding large towns and military bases solo with loud guns basicly suicide.

Well... I will say this again. They should do dual postings. Twitter is all well and good for people who use it, but for those who don't, the announcement section of this forum should be used for.... announcements? That being said, they said they are working on deploying 1.7.7
