    me either, only think I can figure is that our servers are not really updating. Is that possible when you update in the control panel? anyway I saw many complaints of similar things on the steam Conan forum,

    I have the same issue, there is a game mismatch between the server and the game client. Sometimes it asks for a password during the client startup after it would have asked for a server password when you join from the steam server list.
