Check in the server settings once you have connected to the server and made yourself an admin using the admin password.  You can actually change everything there and I don't believe any of them require a server restart (though I could be wrong).

 No restart needed if you set things ingame or least it hasn't yet.

I've been setting those ingame, using the admin password. Pain in the butt, but I never saw those as an option here.

I'm starting to feel very frustrated. I don't see my server in the server list. I'm used to running my own server ran from my pc but felt this would be a better option to ensure server restarts, connection for my friends, and general ease of use would make paying for a server the better option. I'm not exactly new to running servers. I would generally just check my port forwarding from my router, ensure the IP address is configured, etc.

 

My server says it's ready and in blue and will never progresses. I've done the update and validate button many times. It's a no go. I see you say it's a known issue but people paying for a server want their server to work so they and their social community can play. I don't exactly have access to force it to show my server, what recourse or options do I have? My experience this far can only be described as very negative. Please advise or assist.

Do a temp fix until it gets fixed.  Remove all spaces in the server name. Add a space on the end of the server name.

 The Paleo address at steam works just fine, not really a big issue, so long as I can find it, only my girlfriend and I play on it. Would be an issue if you can't get a hold of your player base and let them know of the problem.

Yes, my server is Paleo World, was yesterday and is supposed to be today. Doesn't show up as such on steam, but does as Paleo.

I kept looking for my server on the PvE list, as I have PvP turned off. Apparently, for some reason, the PvP off isn't working and I'm listed as being PvP. But ya, the above seems to help get it up.

 

I also noticed other servers on steam had somethings going for them, like you don't loose your items on death. You can't set those without going into the admin panel, while in the game. Which worked fine. Still a lot of settings I don't have a clue about, but learning.
