The way that I get around not being able to normally change the difficulty level in non custom servers is to first start up the server as a custom server and place the ?OverrideOfficialDifficulty=10.0 in the custom launch line parameter box. Then press the green save settings and reset button at the bottom. Then after the server restarts I change the map back to what ever one that I want to run and press the green save settings and reset button again. Although after you do this you will have to redo it anytime that you make changes to your server config or launch parms. If you are not running a cluster server and can run a custom server all you have to do is add the ?OverrideOfficialDifficulty=10.0 line to the custom launch line parameter box. The difficulty for 180 max level would be 6. So you add ?OverrideOfficialDifficulty=6 to your launch line parameters. also after changing the difficulty you will need use commands to kill all wild dinos The way you find the difficulty you want is you take the max lvl that you want them to spawn at and divide it by 30. The number you get is the difficulty you need to set it to.
