Stop. Start. and Restart. Should be very specifically those actions only. not Stop and restore all XMLs to default or Start, and restore serverconfig to original freshly installed state. And lastly restart should simply be restart, not Restart and do a mix of the previous two. The Save settings and restart at bottom used to be notorious for doing what those three buttons now currently do on my server. and thus i used them to avoid it. now any restart resets things to default. So, no admin privilages for my server anymore i guess.

Is it normal for some servers to just "stop" in the middle of gameplay or overnight? Such as status going from Running to stopped when you hit refresh after you and all you're buddies get dropped from the game. And also waking up one morning to find that you server always has stopped somewhere in the middle of the night and not allowed any friends to play.
