[Setting up a COOP server?]

I'm thinking of getting an Arma 3 server to play on with a couple friends, but I was curious.

 

How easy is it to set up an autonomous coop server like Invade & Annex, and all the settings, with the current control panel?

 

As a note, I'm coming from Ark server hosting with Survival Servers.

Even if it is Conan, the original point is the same. They should have brought new machines on for this, not used existing machines and added more virtual servers to them.

The bottom of the control panel page is for gameusersettings.ini, not for game.ini. That could be the problem.

The config tool has a spot to add lines to the gameusersettings.ini, not the game.ini. I used the FTP method and manually edited it, but I would have liked to have used the tool.

There seems to be a way to manually add lines to gameusersettings.ini, I feel like this should also exist for game.ini

How come in the config options, the Ovis (and some other dinos) spawn weight reads N/A and can't be changed?

I had to make it a custom launch param. Putting it in the ini file never worked.

My cluster has vanished, and has been missing for days. Yesterday it came up for a little while (with no change on my end), but now it's gone again. Seems they're having a lot of troubles right now?

Oh, awesome. One question- After putting in the required stuff, if I don't specify optional things (like mod ids) in the custom launch params section will it use the list above, or will that cause issues?

That gamepedia link says 1.286 will spawn level 150 dinos? How are you getting over 900 with it?

 

My target dino level is 250, if it matters.

I noticed today we now have settings for advanced launch params on our cluster servers, but I still don't see a way to add Overrideofficialdifficulty to the servers.

 

I've tried to add it to the .ini settings, but everything I've read indicates that this does not work (and we do not see higher levels on our server, despite restarts and dino wipes).

#16672, bad, bad lag. Even the control panel lags out, and then shows "unknown".

[Custom Launch Parameters broken?]

I'm trying to use custom launch parameters to enable Offline Raid Protection on my server. I'm also trying to use The Center map.

 

It seems that the only way to access launch params is to switch from The Center to Custom in the map dropdown.

 

So I do that and specify "TheCenter?" at the beginning of the launch params by copying the provided text from the info popup.

 

However, when I do this, my server refuses to start unless I switch the map dropdown back to The Center, The Island, or Valhalla.
