I really hope things are working for you now, ChillBeard. There's a growing thread just above here in the forum where some other folks are also having problems. We've been able to confirm that it's only on SurvivalServers, but support has yet to give us even a properly formatted single-line response, let alone anything resembling support or hope for a fix. We've been getting this since May or June. It's pretty consistent, and so far the only response from SurvivalServers has been, "It's Rust, it's a known issue, suck it up." While other servers have had 5-10 minute rollbacks (which is mitigated by server warning messages saying, "Restart coming in X minutes, stop crafting/building now") I've only seen the big several-hours-or-sometimes-days rollbacks here. They claim it's a known issue, that it's normal, and refuse to either extend our subscription time or offer server upgrades. *Shrug* Good luck, Ashara. My players and I are nervous, too. We prepaid for a year, and we're just waiting the clock down and trying to gather donations so we can move to something reliable, if these guys can't get it turned around or at least offer us some kind of answers.

I've been having this problem since I started using SurvivalServers.com. Losing progress on Rust servers has taken my community from 120 players down to about 8-10. Still no information at this time.

I'm having the same problem; since the November forced wipe, people can't find my server and can only connect via console commands, which is killing my population. >

Last Thursday's Rust update, I restart my server, and it wiped everyone's work and put us on a new map. I had checked the box that only updates when required by Steam, but it wasn't automatically doing the Steam Update. Now, it's Thursday again, and I'm terrified that I'm about to lose my server population again. What's the right way to do the steam update restart?

Is there any way to make the Launcher Parameters line more than 255 characters? My description alone exceeds 255 characters, let alone any other parameters I wanted to set up in there.

D'oh. I may have spoken to soon. The server has been "starting" for almost 20 minutes. Seems to be stuck. =\ Will send in a ticket.

It seems that instant isn't happening again. I saw the threat above noting that we'd need to send a PM to one of the admins. I've done this, and submitted a ticket. Is there any one who can offer an ETA when the server should be set up? The players that are looking to join the server are positively hammering me with Teamspeak and Steam messages, wondering when they can start playing. They're driving me nuts. Help!
