I redownloaded it thinking that might fix it, but it does the same thing. So I'm assuming it's a problem on my end. Not sure what, but I'll figure it out. Thanks!

I've been using Rcon to interact with the players on my server. But since yesterday, Rcon hasn't been working. I would hit connect, it would say It connected, but Players would say Players: 0, which I know is wrong as I can see people are on the server on the panel, and as an added measure, I was messaging people who are on the server. Not sure if this is a problem with ARK itself, Rcon is having issues, or if it's just my computer not being able to connect, which I don't get why would be the issue. Anyone having similar problems?

From what people tell me, it's right after restarts. It's not like they log off for a few hours, come back after a restart, and they are killed by a dino. The problem with manually restarting is the server is usually packed. Right now, there are 23 people on, with close to 10 people on during nightly restarts at 11. They are usually doing something or taming something, and it's hard to get manual restarts going without someone being busy. I'll try that at some point.

Hello. So I'm having reports from users on our server that when some people are logging in, they are dead, or they are missing dinos. It wasn't hard to just jump on and give people items of value back once so often, but it's become an issue every restart, which our server does every 12 hours. I don't know what's going on. I'm usually using Rcon to talk with the people on the server, so I'm not physically seeing what's going on, and I'm wondering if it's just me running into this issue, or other people have. Any information would be very helpful. I want to open a support ticket on this, but I felt posting on the forums would be better first to do to see what others say before I go and use up an admins time. Thanks in Advanced.

Having another issue on the server. The last time I restarted the server was to implement that fix you added. An automatic restart just happened, and from what people are telling me, the server reverted back to that restart. All the progress made in the last 12 hours was lost. I then used "cheat saveworld" to save the world, and the restarted the server after changing the auto restart to 24 hours. When I logged back in, the server had reverted back to the same state( I know this because I had changed my location, and logging back in put me back in the same spot as before). Not sure how to fix this, and I'm feeling bad that people are losing progress to this. Any help would be appreciated.

The Server Option is called "DisableDinoDecayPvE" and if set to false, anyone can claim someone else's dinos(http://ark.gamepedia.com/Server_Configuration) Now I have to figure out how to change this in the Survival Servers Control Panel

I'm helping run a server while my friend is at Twitchcon. We had just launched the server to the public, and one thing people are noticing now that people are coming on and exploring is that you can go to other people's dino's and claim them as your own. I had this happen to me with my Pterodon. I was trying to help these people, and the guy just claimed it and flew off. You get this message "Claiming Allowed!" When you hover over the dino, and can just press E to instantly have the dino. Looking up the issue, I can see one thing that might be affecting this. ARK implemented a Dino Decay/Unclaim timer. Now I believe that the timer is set to like 0 or something, and they instantly get claimable. It only works in PVE, which I then unchecked Disable PVP to get rid of, but for some reason, the server is still in PVE mode. I really need help with this as I want the server to get back up as soon as possible for these players. If anyone knows how to fix the claiming timer(because I don't see a setting I can change in the config area) or how to fix it from being PVE even though disable PVP is unchecked, please let me know as soon as you can.
