    Basically you all are all correct If you're having problems using Valheim+ and getting the incompatible issue, the only way I've been able to get around it is loading 8.6 client on my pc. I did go through the steps Overlord suggested, but there is a possibility I might have missed something. I was just offering a way to get around it until the correct version on the server can be loaded. Thanks for all the comments and help

    I downloaded and installed the 8.6 version of Valheim+, and the incompatible issue went away. Does anyone know what version of Valheim+ is getting installed on the server?

    Fixed, I downloaded version 8.5 and it worked, I originally downloaded 9.0

    I'm getting incompatible version and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the client and server several times. What version of Valheim+ are the serves using ?
