    Should only take a few minutes. I've had friends have this issue. Trying following this guide to manually connect to the server.     I've rented a server here and have been playing on it since the game launched. Performance has overall been good. Have had some lag issues but I feel like most of those can be attributed to the game itself and have been easily fixed by either relogging or restarting the server. Our server is located in Dallas and I have friends playing from California, Florida, and Pennsylvania with no issues.

    Yes he said the game is hard coded to save in 30 minute intervals. Until the game devs make changes there's no way to alter this value or force it to save. Best to wait awhile before restarting server.
