What's more they suggested that the reason that it took them 6 days to reply to my ticket was because i had added more information to, thereby causing their ticket system to push my ticket to the back of the queue.

thats wonderful and stuff, but as a result i cant get onto my server either. When i try to connect to my server i get a connection to someone elses server with a different splash screen and it kicks me off before connection. Wouldnt hurt to just send a mass e-mail when doing planned maintenance. If that is indeed what the issue is.

i wouldnt recommend spending any additional money with these guys. I've had a ticket open for 5 days now with not so much as a "Sorry we are busy and will get to you". Neither battleye or AH work on my server at the moment. Battleye causes people to get kicked if they open a safe with the correct pin. AH causes certain players to get stuck on the splash screen.

Ok I've made a breakthrough. Thanks to those that tried to help and no thanks at all to the hosting companies support who still haven't acknowledged my ticket. It would appear that survival servers have their game set up differently to my previous host in the respect that there server will not run with a dayz_server.pbo that isn't digitally signed. When you edit the vanilla server.pbo the digital signature is removed which breaks the functionality of the file. Using pbomanager you have a menu for digital signatures (the icon that looks like a padlock). If you click this you will be presented with a window showing your digital signature which will be blank if you have edited the file. If you right click in this window you will get the option to "generate a signature. Generate yourself a new signature then repack your server pbo. You will now be able to use he file. Pre-warning... I did however have one issue. When I loaded into game for the first time I got stuck on the loading screen. Sounds from the game like rain and zombies where audible in the background back all I could see was the loading screen. Shutting down the game then reloading fixed this but I will keep an eye out to see if this occurs again and also look for a potentially remedy.

for agruments sake, i did a fresh attempt. Modified a brand new vanilla version of the server.pbo. same problem again
