So I am by no means someone who knows anything about computers. I came from Xbox and over the course of a few months have learned to code and whatnot but beyond that my knowledge is limited. I was wondering, if I increase the number of slots for my server, does that increase the server-side RAM? Does this in turn help things run smoother? Faster? I know of course that my own PC is the main contributing factor, I am simply curious. I am running about 30 mods but most of them are below 100mbs. I am playing with a few friends but if this would help performance, I would consider an upgrade. Thanks in advance for the help. :)

So I see that there is a 25k character limit on the custom ini code sections, and I was wondering if this is the limit for all servers no matter their size? I currently only have a 10 slot server because I play by myself and with one or two other friends on occasion, but if I buy a server with more slots (say 20-30) if that character limit would increase in relation or if that's simply a hard limit regardless. Updated: I've figured out I can add it in myself via the FTP and it wasn't all that hard to do so I guess this is irrelevant.
