Loopien 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2020 Can someone help me figure this out, as my friend wants to try playing on a new map but we do not want to lose our dinos, and/or have the map we already have saved to play on again. 1: How can we safely transfer our dinos to a new world when I switch the map in the control panel (and is there a cooldown on bringing them out?) 2: How can I back up the current world we have in case things go south 3: How Can I restore the world if I want to play on this map again? Is it as simple as just uploading the dinos to an ark, switching the map, and calling it a day? Thanks for your time!

Syphen 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2020 you can always ftp in and download the save files. easiest way to transfer is if you have a cluster setup you can just upload to obelisk. Other than that I would say you would need to make a backup, upload everything to the obelisk, change the map, go to the obelisk and download everything. You would need to make sure allow tribute downloads is allowed.
