Spartanics 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2017 Hello I am currently a server owner of Survival Servers. I am also a Web site designer who knows the way around the FTP Filezilla folders. My method seems slow when updating mods. In fact it took me 5 hours to upload 19 mods to the server including the Volcano Map. This was 2 days ago! Today I had to update The Volcano map and 3 other modifications. Needless to say there is alot of downtime updating. My method is to drag and drop each file that is updated into file zilla. Basically reinstalling the mods again due to not knowing what files have been updated inside the folders. I know that there is an Auto Managed Mods Automatically updates/downloads Workshop mods (does not apply to ModMapIDs) - this is an alternative (and currently not recommended) to the Survival Servers automatic mod management (which is enabled by default) However this worries me due to the activity on my server. I am growing as a server and do not want to mess up or hinder those who have started on the server. My question today is what is your method of installing and do you have an alternative method to the slow and painful way I am doing it? THEGN0ME 3 Report post Posted May 2, 2017 Spartanics, You can add the mods via your control panel inside of the ModID box. You can specify a comma seperated list (or just a single) using Steam workshop IDs (the Mod ID is in the URL of the workshop page for that mod). like: 123456789,123456789,123456789Once added this will update your mods every server restart automatically.
