Sea dino overspawing on Center Map.

Recommended Posts

On the back side of "Lava island" there are way to many sea dino's spawned and it's taking a huge toll on FPS. Not to mention the perfect tame Spino and pteredon I've lost due to client crash from the lag of all the dinos. Wondering if there is a fix for this or if a kill wild dino's will work.....I've seen a couple vid's on youtube saying the kill command didn't work. I've updated the server (also heard that was a fix as well) and that didn't do anything either. I'm hesitant about the kill dino as I've found a lvl 110 giga and am building up to take that bad boy on (he will be mine).

they recently patched this so make sure your server is the latest version.

THEN

You have to run the admin command

DestroyWildDinos

To kill off all the stuff that has already overspawned.

If you patched the server but did NOT do the wild dino kill then your entire world population is going to stay as it is until you manually kill them off, or they eat each other, but that will not happen since a lot of dino's ignore each other, especially in the sea.

There is a command you can run to kill just a specific species of wild dino but I dont know it off hand.  Check reddit as people have posted it there.  If you find that, then you can kill off JUST the megaladons, ichkys, mantas, trilobites, anglers, euriptids, plesi's, mosa's....not sure if im forgetting one or not.

Much easier to do a wilddino mass kill IMO.
