How to get your server back from the dead (DDOS attack)

Hey there,

 

So, as I'm sure many of you know - Survival Servers - fell victim to a DDOS against their MYSQL server, which in turn shut down all of our servers. They've posted the instructions to get your server back online on their twitter.

 

I figure, not everyone checks their twitter 24-7 (Hell I sure don't) so I will repost their complex procedure.

 

 

Step 1.

Stop your server.

 

Step 2.

Edit 'HiveExt.ini' via the configuration editor.

 

Step 3.

Start your server.
