So on my server, the last four maps I've tried to run with Alpha 19 have been 8k maps, but only about 25% of the map is usable. The rest is ocean, ocean and more ocean. I've done some searches, and it seems the easiest way to fix this is to install a pregen map. Problem is, I am an FTP newbie and I can't seem to find the information I need, so, here I am. How the heck do I install a pregen map onto my server? Or is this something I need support to do? Seems like it shouldn't be?

Before anything make sure the server is stopped, Then go to your control panel and make sure under Modify Game Server Settings change the map drop down menu to custom. You should now then see a box near the bottom labeled Launch Parameters Line, Enter in +map mapname (the map's actual name, if no name is given on the workshop it might have to be a guessing game) for example if you want to add Bad Lands type +map Bad_Lands. Then scroll to the bottom of the page and press the green Save Settings button. Make sure you have the modID of the map you are trying to switch, (not sure about canyonlands dlc). Second go to the hosting.cfg file and in the steam_ugc line copy it after steam_ugc. Like this steam_ugc=modID. Once you are done with that go back to the control panel and press "start".
