[How Long To Update]

An update doesn't take that long. Big mods will take a long time to download/install though, or if you have hundreds it could take a while to both install them and also to start the server itself.

 

Just hit the refresh button on the control panel page though, itll eventually say the server is ready and then you are good to go!

 

i've had to call it.. because not only is the Conan server stuck, but the Ark one is too. There are no mods on any of my servers, yet it was failing to recover. Eh.

[How Long To Update]

I've been trying to get my ARK server to start after getting configuration done, but I'm seeing that a task is still running. How long does an update/validate take for ARK? I'd like to try and play on one of the servers tonight.

 

Active task is running Your game server is currently working on task "update" which started 02/06/2017 16:25:55 PST. Control panel functionality will be limited until this task is completed.

How is this a problem with the latest patch when every other provider is fine? Why do customers have the same issue with other game servers like Ark and Rust? None of that even makes sense...

 

It could very well be hardware specific. I've been on the other side of things like this and sometimes.. **** just plain happens for the most stupid reasons that have never been a problem before.

 

Don't get me wrong.. I am curious about the details and once this is over (because fixed FIRST is the priority here) I'll be pushing for significant detail. I just started with this service, and so far.. I've had four hours of usage out of both servers I've got running. I'd be lying if I said I'm happy, but I am very empathetic here.

Is it possible to get my hosting fees to tie together so it's one lump sum rather than individual charges?

It looks like mine is still under Staff Intervention as well. This is pretty disappointing, but I'm sure there's a decent enough reason for it. Now if only my Ark server would behave.

Ark: #35690 (This has been stuck on update for almost an hour now... haven't had the option to launch it. Different game, different ticket/forum though.)

[Password Recovery: Enter Causes Login Form To Return]

I use a password management tool and when signing up for these forums, it ended up overwriting my password for the control panel. Well, I just spent about 20 minutes trying to recover/reset that password because the Reset Password field that asks for your username resets when you hit enter rather than submitting the text field.

 

Miiiight be good to have that looked at when Conan isn't breaking everything.

a CPU bug? Sounds like something level 1 tech support would say. hahahaha

 

When you're busy trying to get things working.. you can most definitely word things poorly.  I am interested in what the problem is in detail. Here's to hoping for a "postmortem".
