[Can't access server!]

so I noticed that my server's ip changed recently.
from: 167.114.209.47
to: 167.114.211.47

I did not change this.

It was after this change that no one is able to find or enter my server anymore.

 

I tried adding the new address manually to the servers on the steam servers browser and connecting to it that way. This is what I got:

none of my friends can find it either.

my client ver is 186.3. my control panel says my server is ready to join and updated to 186.3...

Says server is up and current version, but steam browser will not find it. What is going on?

When will we get access to the new map, on our server control panel?

can you be more specific? what doesn't work? what cheat commands have you tried after issuing the enablecheats command?

sadly, if you don't have a backup for today at noon, neither do they, and they won't be able to help you.

if you are admin, however, you could go in and restore stuff manually with console commands (summon/tame dinos, give resources, items, etc.)

this is just one more of the things I wish they would add to a (currently) non-existant log feature :\

Hah.. just saw the button on the client that says "version 179.6 notes" nvm

 

I guess he just didn't update the patch notes page on steam yet.

 

Question: How can the server version update to a fake (i.e. non-existant) version of the game??? o_O

It looks like it is updating OK now. I was able to update to version 179.4.

 

 

 

 

 

 

steam says ark is version 179.4 right now, but when I run the update cycle on my server, it stays at 178.0

How do you control the length of the day/night cycle? Is it a server startup command? I didn't see it in that thread.

how do you give experience to another player on your server? The current command only lists the value for yourself (0 0) how do you know the values for the other players?

actually, one of them is possible: admincheat Broadcast - Broadcasts a message to the whole server.

certainly it is possible to code a button that sends this console command

also, if possible, log failure and success access attempts to live people and crafted containers

How long does it usually take them to make your server available after you purchase it??

I've been waiting and waiting and the order still just says 'pending'.
