Staff Intervention Lock

Q: What is a staff intervention lock? Did someone from your staff close my control panel? How do I fix this?

A: "Staff Intervention Lock" message displays on your control panel when the server is doing one of the following:

  1. Start, Update, Shut Down operation.
The control panel is automatically locked while the server undergoes these operations. If you see this message, you have most likely refreshed the browser during this phase. Simply wait 10-15 more minutes and refresh the page once again and the message will be removed and you will have control over the panel once again.
  2. Staff maintenance or support ticket help.
If your server has not been issued a start, update, or shut down command, then a staff member has locked it down for one of two reasons. Either a staff member is working with you via a support ticket and needs to lock controls, or immediate server maintenance needs to be performed to fix an issue.

If this message persists, even if a staff member is not actively working on your server, please let us know and we will correct this for you.

"Unknown" Status

Q: My server is showing a status of Unknown and I don't have access to the control panel. I can't start it, what do I do?

A: An "Unknown" status message is due to a miscommunication between the control panel and the game server. This can be due to unexpected issues with the data center hosting your server or unexpected maintenance that staff need to work on quickly as possible. In the event of an Unknown status message, please send in a support ticket and we'll take care of this for you.

Multiple Users

Q: Is it possible to add multiple user access to my account? Can I limit what actions they can make on my server?

A: Yes. Sub users can be added to your account to manage your server that you trust. This can be found on the left side of your control panel. Click on My Account and then Sub Users. Limited or full access can be granted.
