Windrose+ is included free with every Windrose server hosted at Survival Servers. It expands the default 8 server fields and 9 world parameters to over 2,400 configurable settings, and adds an RCON console, server status dashboard, and live map. No client-side mods are required.

What Windrose+ Adds

The base Windrose dedicated server exposes a small set of configuration options. Windrose+ extends this significantly:

Feature Description
Multipliers Server-side multipliers for loot, XP, stack size, craft cost, crop speed, and carry weight.
Player Stats Full control over max health, stamina, stamina regen, posture, armor, defence power, and more.
Talent Trees All four specialization trees (Crusher, Fencer, Marksman, ToughGuy) with every talent value exposed.
Co-op Scaling Enemy health modifiers per additional player for both land and ship enemies.
Combat Effects Bleed damage, bleed duration, weakness duration, and weakness strength.
Swimming Health drain, stamina consumption, and tick rates while swimming.
Rest Effects Campfire and bed bonuses for health regen, stamina regen, and extra stamina.
Hearth Hearth passive health regen amount and tick period.
Weapons Per-weapon damage and attack power values for every weapon in the game.
Food Food, consumable, and alchemy stat overrides.
Entities Land and naval entity stats for 74 land creatures and 18 naval entities.
Gear Armor sets, jewelry stats, and set bonus values.
RCON Console Remote console with autocomplete and 20+ commands for server management.
Live Map Real-time Sea Chart showing player positions and creature locations.
Server Status Dashboard with player count, version, uptime, and performance metrics.

How to Open the Server Config Modal

  1. Log in to your Survival Servers control panel.
  2. Select your Windrose game server from the server list.
  3. Click the Modify Server Config button on the game server page.
  4. The server configuration modal will open with a sidebar for navigation.

Where to Find the Windrose+ Section

Inside the Modify Server Config modal, the sidebar on the left contains navigation links to each configuration section. The Windrose+ settings are organized into these sections:

  • Multipliers - Loot, XP, stack size, craft cost, crop speed, and carry weight multipliers.
  • Player Stats - Max health, stamina, stamina regen, posture, armor, defence, and more.
  • Talents - All four talent tree specializations with every value adjustable.
  • Co-op Scaling - Enemy health scaling per additional player.
  • Rest Effects - Campfire and bed rest bonuses.
  • Swimming - Swimming health drain and stamina consumption.
  • Combat Effects - Shared weapon bleed and weakness effect values.
  • Hearth - Hearth proximity health regeneration settings.
  • RCON - Enable or disable the RCON console and set the RCON password.

The base Windrose settings (server name, password, max players, world preset, difficulty) remain at the top of the modal.

How to Adjust Multipliers

Navigate to the Multipliers section in the config modal sidebar. Each multiplier uses a simple numeric input:

Multiplier Default What It Does
Loot 1 Controls harvest and loot drop quantity. Set to 2 for double drops, 0.5 for half.
XP 1 Experience gain rate. Set to 3 for triple XP.
Stack Size 1 Item stack size multiplier. Set to 5 to allow 5x larger stacks.
Craft Cost 1 Crafting material cost. Set to 0.5 to halve crafting costs.
Crop Speed 1 Crop growth speed. Set to 2 for crops that grow twice as fast.
Weight 1 Carry weight capacity. Set to 10 for 10x carry weight.

All multiplier values use 1 as the default (unchanged from the base game). Values below 1 reduce the stat, values above 1 increase it, except for Craft Cost where lower values mean cheaper crafting.

How to Save and Apply Changes

At the bottom of the config modal sidebar, three save flow options are available:

Option What It Does
Save & Restart Server Stops the server, applies all config changes, and restarts the server. Changes take effect immediately.
Save Without Restart Saves config changes to the database without restarting. Changes apply on the next server restart.
Save Form Values Only Saves the form values to the database without writing config files. Useful for staging changes before applying them.

Select your preferred save flow option and click the Save button. For multiplier and player stat changes, Save & Restart Server is recommended so changes take effect immediately.

Dashboard Access

When Windrose+ is enabled and your server is running, the Windrose+ Dashboard is accessible via HTTP. The dashboard URL is shown on your game server page in the control panel.

The dashboard provides:

  • Server Status - Player count, server version, uptime, and performance metrics.
  • RCON Console - Send remote commands to your server with autocomplete.
  • Sea Chart - Live map showing player and creature positions in real time.

Access is protected by the RCON password set in the server config modal. Enter the password on the login page to access the dashboard.

The dashboard runs on the game port plus 3 (for example, if your game port is 8777, the dashboard is on port 8780).

Enabling and Disabling Windrose+

Windrose+ is enabled by default on all new Windrose servers. To disable it:

  1. Open the Modify Server Config modal.
  2. Find the Windrose+ toggle at the top of the Windrose+ section.
  3. Set it to Disabled.
  4. Save and restart your server.

When disabled, the server runs with only the base Windrose configuration options. Re-enable at any time by setting the toggle back to Enabled and restarting.
