ARK: Survival Evolved Admin Commands
Admin commands for ARK: Survival Evolved dedicated servers on PC. For consoles see ARK PS4 Admin Commands; for ARK: Survival Ascended see ARK: Survival Ascended Admin Commands.
Logging in as admin
Open the in-game console (default key Tab on PC) and log in with your server's admin password:
enablecheats yourAdminPassword
On a Survival Servers instance the admin password is the Admin Pass in the settings form on your server's page in the Command Center. Once logged in, prefix admin commands with cheat.
You can also open the full admin GUI after logging in:
ShowMyAdminManager
cheat vs admincheat
cheat and admincheat are the same prefix - admincheat is just the long form. On a dedicated server both require enablecheats first, and every command on this page works with either.
Wiping wild dinos
The most common admin task on a long-running server. Wiping wild creatures forces the map to respawn them, which you need after changing difficulty or level settings, installing or removing creature mods, or when spawns feel stale or missing:
cheat SaveWorld cheat DestroyWildDinos
Only wild creatures are destroyed - tamed dinos are untouched. The map repopulates automatically over the next few minutes using your current server settings, so new spawn rules take effect immediately.
