Having some trouble figuring out how to use a custom map. Any insight would be appreciated.

You will need to upload your .map file to Dropbox, create the link after it is uploaded, then copy the link.  Click custom launch parameters on the control panel and type

+levelurl paste your link from dropbox

Change the 0 to a 1 at the end of the link then click save settings and restart game server button at the bottom of control panel.

Also are sure you have the oxide.ext.rustedit.dll installed in your Rustdedicated_data/managed folder on your server.  This is always needed for custom rust maps.

On FileZilla, there are  two Server listings:  Remote site/server which includes all files,  and farther down list another server which has experimental, legacy, etc.  So, which one do I download the  Rustdedicated_data/managed to?

If you are talking about where the Oxide.Ext.RustEdit.dll needs to be installed RustDedicated_Data is in the root of the server files.
