forgerofsouls 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2019 Not sure why, but, on my server, I cannot create an alliance. When I go to create an alliance, after inputting the name and hitting the accept button, it is not created. Is this because my server is a PvP server? Tallon 21 Report post Posted January 18, 2019 That happened to us but that was like 3 patches ago.. I assume youve run an update & validate file since last week or the week before ? It has been like that since the feature was introduced in ARK. Offline Raid Protection disables alliances in order to determine which members are online for a certain company (tribe) and having alliances prevents it from being able to do that due to how alliances work with making players friendly. That is false actually. On my ARK servers we have offline raid protection on and we are able to create alliances just fine. Correct answer is you cant have ORP, AND alliances because it allows an in game abuse of making a 2nd Sleeper tribe/company, Building Walls or Bunkers around the Allied Company/Tribe and just using pin codes that can be accessed by the Active tribe where the Defences can not be harmed by other players while the Allied can get in and out useing pin codes abusing the entire system Than can you explain to me how we were and still are able to create alliances on my ARK servers despite having offline protection on? Cause, yes, yes we are able to do so, and we did do so. Thankfully, no one abuses the system for a second sleeper tribe. So, I don't know why you tried arguing with something that I am able to do on my ARK servers. We've done just that. Created alliances while offline protection is on, on my ARK servers.
