How do you activate the holiday events on your server?

 

The Easter event is coming up soon and I'd like to activate it on my server.

 

I see a check box for the Valentine's Day event in the Advanced Launch Params, which worked during the valentine's Day event, however there isn't anything for the other holiday events.

 

I'm aware that the event isn't currently happening, but I'd like to know how to set it up before it starts.

 

On the official announcement page they say:

• Run your private server with '-ActiveEvent=Easter' to turn on the event

 

 But there isn't a place for us to manually add anything to the Launch Params.

The Easter event is waiting on an update from the devs as they have to push a new update live I think for consoles.

Does the activeevent=Easter go in game.ini or gameuser.ini?

I logged in this evening, under the custom launch parameter there is a box to check for Easter event. Haven’t checked to see if all Easter “fun” is loaded however it’s a start

In the advanced launch parameter there should now be an option to activate this event. Once activated you should run the "cheat destroywilddinos" command in order to get the event in full swing.
