GunRunneR 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2017 Heyas, Been running a DNL server since 7/29, had a server with survival servers in the past. Before when I didnt have any population things worked really good, pretty much a solid 30 server framerate. As I am getting some population, it seems that basically after 6 players are online, that framerate starts dipping pretty bad, to where it wont go above 10, and as bad as a it bouncing from 2 to 6. I know the game itself is early access, and there is a lot of optimization needed still, im just wondering if there is anything we can do as admins to help the situation? GunRunneR 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2017 Ok will do, Honestly I'm not blaming you guys, I just figured with the unoptimized code of the game it was the issue. I just heard out there that some people were using memory managers on thier private servers to counter some of the problems, that didnt sound really feasable to do on a rented rack space, so I was just seeing if other admins might have other options for performance. No problem. We are constantly in search of trying to get things as smooth as possible. The true fix thou is for the devs to optimize a bit more. Once that is done, then things will be smooth.
