Pat 11 Report post Posted April 4, 2017 7Days ships with default settings in the serverconfig.xml, we just add in details from your control panel. Your best bet is picking up an FTP program if you haven't already and connect to your server, just make sure the server is stopped first. Once you connect, you should be able to snag your serverconfig.xml and edit it locally! Most folks swap out the Random Generation seed for custom worlds, what kind of stuff drops on death/logging out and various zombie settings. The file itself is pretty well documented and should help explain what all the settings can offer. If you are new to FTP, you should check out this thread here for some tips & tricks!
