Server is stuck on creating.

I created a server with some friends, this is as far as we got. We have not altered anything in the control panel that would affect the server.

 

I remote connect to the server. I can see it on the multiplayer list, there is no mission or type listed. I join and type in the password, i join the server and see wait for host, i am immediately kicked/session lost.

 

How do I fix this so I can play on the server?

Check if you have the right mods installed on your PC.

Try connecting to your server via DZLauncher.

My server also says creating and will not allow players to connect. Have ticket open at the moment for not being able to see the server to begin with. My question is do I need to modify any of the server files before playing the game or is it ready to play. I haven't done anything with the files yet.

I believe I got you fixed up already. Sometimes the only modification that needs done is to alter the battleye filters or for 1.8.9 dayz is to update the steam_appid.txt in the FTP client if you are launching a certain way.
