Plugins not working? Oxide updated? Here's how to reinstall + more information

Please note: After a Rust update comes out, Oxide needs to be manually updated. This could take several hours (although sometimes it is instantly ready after a Rust update). We automatically pull from the Github files. The latest released version of Oxide for Rust can be found here:

https://github.com/OxideMod/Oxide.Rust/releases

When an update for Oxide is available from the Github link above, the following process you can use to update Oxide:

  1. From your Survival Servers control panel select "No Mod" from the mod drop down
  2. Click on the green Update & Restart button
  3. From the same panel, select "Oxide" again from the mod drop down
  4. Click on the green Update & Restart button

This will completely reinstall Oxide with the latest Oxide files (overwriting the old .dlls and CSharpCompiler.exe)

The plugins don't load any config files. I tried what you said, but when I select "No Mod" and restart the server, Oxide is back everytime, I can't deactivate it :(

Any idea ?

I also tried disabling the 'Oxide' plugin and then restarting etc... but even though it's listed as running this mod in the control panel it isn't.

Any idea when the issue will be resolved or is this going to be managed on a one by one basis?

This is something  that needs to be resolved via support ticket as it is account specific.

I'm having same issues, as well as others.. So I don't think it is account specific.

Oxide isn't working.

I have tried your method, and I have updated manually, Oxide refuses to load.

Same here. Oxide will not work. I have an oxide folder showing in the root file but no folders for plugins or configs will generate. Have sent in tickets and reached out on various platforms and have yet to get a response.

I realise I'm probably posting this in the wrong place, but it seemed the most appropriate.

Anyhow, how do I uninstall Oxide?

Even if I put "no mods" and do a "save settings and restart game server" oxide will still run when I start it...

Also, is there a way to just remove everything and have a 'clean install' just like when I bought the server?

Fixed it by deleting the "RustDedicated_Data" folder, and revalidating the server... Seems like an awful lot to do for such a simple task

I have the same issue on my end have tried the steps above.

Let me mention when i look at the github link you reference in the original post it doesn't exist...

https://github.com/OxideMod/Snapshots

Could this be something to do with it ?

-console

We had updated to the new Oxide file repos as directed by the Oxide team once they had swapped over. If you are having issues with this still, please submit a ticket and we'll look at your server for the problem.
